Hotel and Bed and Breakfast Information

This is a listing of Cotswolds places to stay and accommodation in and around Moreton-in-Marsh, it is for information purposes only, we are not responsible should you encounter any problems or bad service.

As airlines fill their seating capacity, they increase the price of the remaining seats. I don’t doubt this is the same with accommodation. Please bear this in mind, because sometimes high end rooms can be booked at low prices depending on how far in advance the booking is made.

Please do not bring your suitcases or hand luggage as we do not have room on the minibus.

SUITCASES AND LUGGAGE

We cannot take backpacks, suitcases or hand luggage on the minibus.

The meeting point for the tour is the ticket office / waiting room of Moreton-in-Marsh railway station at 10.00 – The tour leaves at 10.15. You can leave your suitcases at ‘The Laundrette’ http://www.the-launderette.co.uk

You don’t need to book this service, just turn up on the day. Contact names are Diane or Leanne 0044 (0)1608 650888.

They are open from 08.00 – 16.30 Monday to Friday (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Weekends). You can leave suitcases there overnight if necessary.

‘The Laundrette’ which is four minutes walk from Moreton-in-Marsh railway station is in New Road, they charge £1 per suitcase and your belongings will be perfectly safe there during the day. They are mentioned in Rick Steves’ Guide as a safe place to store suitcases during the day.

The tour finishes at 16.30, but we always arrive ten minutes before, so you’ll have adequate time to collect your bags and catch your ongoing bus or train. Please let us know during the day that you have stored your luggage and that you must be back in time to collect it.
