Lovely day trip from London
My husband and I were on a holiday in London and enjoy taking day trips. We are really happy we decided to tour the Cotswolds as it truly is an enchanting place. It was simple to purchase tickets and they even tell you which train to take from Paddington, which helped a great deal. Andy was our guide and did a fantastic job! We stopped for lunch at a pub, which we enjoyed. Definitely recommend this tour! Rochelle
My husband and I have visited England more than a dozen times in the last twenty five years and have stayed in other areas of the Cotswolds. This time we stayed in Broadway which is a jewel of a town. It is beautiful and accessible by bus or a nearby train.
In the past we had a car but this time we did not. We love to explore out of the way towns and villages. A local B and B owner had mentioned this tour.
It was one of the delightful highlights of our visit. Ian, our driver and guide, was charming and informative with a great knowledge of the history of the Cotswolds.
We met him at the Moreton in the Marsh train station. Four other tourists joined our group.
The six of us then embarked on a lovely and entertaining day as Ian meandered through the outstandingly beautiful Cotswold landscape passing through picture perfect villages. We stopped several times to walk about villages admiring architecture, churches and the fairytale cottages. We stopped for a Sunday roast lunch at a 16th century inn. Wonderful.
This was the perfect way to see an area of the Cotswolds.
We had a lovely day with Becky showing us around the villages of the Cotswolds. She explained the history of the area (recent and otherwise), took us to several churches and parks, and all around the northern part of the area. The tour gave us a wonderful introduction to the area – we’d love to return for an extended visit. I highly recommend this tour!

Having been to the the Cotswolds before this tour took us to many places we had not been to some beautiful hidden villages amazing countryside views and places off the beaten track . We stopped off for a lunch at a lovely old inn.we had a great guide Ian who was very friendly and had a great knowledge of the Cotswolds. This is a great way to discover the hidden Cotswolds. Siobhan
My wife and I spent a great day with Ian and five other folks touring the Cotswolds.Ian took us to places and explained things no tour book could have! I have always avoided organized tours but this one was different.Even if you have your own auto I would recommend you take this tour . It will give you ideas for your next trip and where you may want to send more time. We will be returning to stay in Stow on Wold ,but will take the Secret Cottage Tour with Becky and her friends.
The best of the English Countryside
A fantastic experience with our Guide Robin. If leaving from London the day starts with a relaxing train ride out to Morton on Marsh. Within a few minutes of arriving you have met your travel companions for the day and are in the van and on your way. Robin’s easy and relaxed manner made for an enjoyable day. Having lived in the area for many years he was full of interesting stories and historical facts. We stopped for a nice lunch at a typical Cotswold Pub and there was plenty of time to wash it down with a pint of the local brew. We would recommend this tour as an easy and relaxing way to see one of Englands iconic areas.
